I’m behind on my posting!
Posted by Amber Bartlett
Well, I have been pretty busy for the last few months. Granger and I had our beautiful daughter, London, on October 6, 2011. She is the most precious angel I have ever seen and I thank God for her every day. She’s already growing so fast. She will be 6 months in April and is rolling over and trying to get moving! I think she has her daddy’s lungs because her little voice can be heard a mile away
.
Granger is about to embark on his 2nd Annual 100 Mile Soldier Walk. I am so proud of him. Please check this out to see how you can be a part of it and give back to those who give for us every day.
Work for me has been picking up again. I had a blast in Hollywood at the premiere of Beneath the Darkness. I recently shot a campaign for Ace Hardware -
and Primera Air.
My etsy business is still going strong so if you need any nursery baby names, check this out!
I am auditioning a lot so hopefully I will have more to add soon! Have a great weekend everyone!

My new hobby – Hanging wood letters for baby nurseries
Posted by Amber Bartlett
Since I have been pregnant I have taken up crafting. I decided to start an Etsy shop and it has been going really well! Painting relaxes me and I love creating new pieces for my Etsy customers. I know I am so excited to decorate London’s nursery so it is a joy to create some art for someone else’s bundle of joy as well! If you know anyone expecting or need a shower gift, check out my shop!

Hello!
Here are a few pictures from the Korres spec spot we shot a couple of weeks ago. Mark Eberle directed. I always love working with him. We shot this in a loft in downtown Dallas. The lotions are so smooth and smell so good! As always, the crew was fantastic! Thanks to everyone

Josh Abbott “Oh, Tonight” Music Video

Update – here is the video. Click the link below! Enjoy!
Happy St. Patty’s Day! Gosh, I guess it’s been over a month since I have blogged. I’ve been busy with auditions and castings this past month. The last couple of days we have been working on the new video for Josh Abbott’s single “Oh, Tonight”. The video included Josh, Kacey Musgraves, Granger and myself
. Director Evan Kaufmann and his wife Katie were so great to work with and I think the end result is gonna be fantastic! I don’t wanna spoil it for anyone but let’s just say there is some shady stuff happening in the video. I will leave you with some pics from the shoot and I will post the link to the video when it is complete (first week of April I think). Hope everyone has a great day today!

Your Mom Hates This – Dead Space 2
Posted by Amber Bartlett
So, I work part-time as a casting assistant aside from acting. I love being on the casting side. I know from experience all the emotions an actor goes through when they walk in that door, and it’s really fun to be able to witness that from another angle. Anyway… I recently had to search for a few hundred older women to take part in a “market research” study about a form of new media. What these sweet ladies didn’t know was that they were about to be exposed to a violent new video game and have all of their emotions caught on tape. Check out the process below and also the new ad for Dead Space 2. Oh, the thrills of casting
. I am sorry moms!
We also recently cast an HEB/Jack Ingram commercial which will air during the Superbowl so be on the lookout for that! It was shot at the historic Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, TX.
Hello 2011!
Posted by Amber Bartlett
Wow, what an amazing 2010. I got to work on so many great projects, was able to travel to fun and exciting places, made new friends along the way, and married my soul mate
. We rang in the new year at Granger’s New Years Eve Bash at Coupland DanceHall Friday night.
Let’s see Resolutions? Hmmm… I want to sloooooow down in 2011. I think I am always running around like crazy, and I want to take time to really enjoy everything I am doing – breathe it all in!
I also started P90x about a week ago in an effort to get healthy and toned!
I am so excited for what is to come in 2011. Beneath the Darkness will be released in October this year, my brother will be getting married, and maybe…just maybe there will be a little Smith baby soon
. I hope you all had a wonderful 2010 and here is to a FABULOUS 2011. Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my blog. See ya soon!
xoxo

Okay, we won’t count his role as Doc Holliday in “Tombstone” In any event, Quaid is so menacing, (watch his eyes and twitching mouth) that he only has to raise his hand and you expect to see an axe in it. In fact, Quaid is so wacky that one isn’t sure whether Guigui is satirizing horror movies or just letting Quaid have fun.
